Plants are the basis of natural medicine | |
During nearly all the human history plants were essential pills. Ancient people could survive only in certain conditions. This is physical-chemical parameters (temperature, composition of air, water availability), and competes successfully with other biological systems, such as predatory animals and microorganisms, and a sufficient amount of food. But also man needs medical factors that enable the human body to artificially enhance its viability, to resist infection and to eliminate damage. Nature created a subtle mechanism that can support the livelihoods of almost any conditions of the Earth. The human body is an open self-regulating biological system. Any biosystem (and people) can in some way to repair by its own - to treat.
Treatment is a process of meaningful use of environmental factors and the mobilization of self-regulation mechanisms for the complete or partial restoration of the structural and functional integrity of the organism. According to the concept of nature,
herbals and animals may serve as food for a man. Consequently, they provide a comprehensive set of tools for maintenance and regulation of activity. People ate the plant, which refers to the
herbal medicine. People rubbed the skin in certain places - this is a reflex. Man pulled a thorn - it is surgery. Man took delivery - this is the obstetrics and gynecology. Medicine was born simultaneously with the first human. Gradually the person has accumulated experience of the beneficial effects on the body of food and certain plants. There are people who specialize in the
treatment of a man. That was the beginning of medicine and pharmacology. Nature gave men the key to
health. The use of plants for medicinal purposes was the beginning of
phytotherapy. Can we call the science that physicians did many centuries ago? Of course, we do, because they did it intelligently, using specific knowledge and practical experience. They could use only those skills that were available to them in those days. The main principle was the practice of
treatment. |
